Fermin Tanguis was a businessman and agriculturalist of Puerto Rican descent. Fueled by his own curiosity and vested interest in seeing the cotton industry flourish, he conducted countless experiments on cotton germination in the span of a decade, crossbreeding enduring cotton plants. After many years of failures, his work came to fruition: a strain he generously gifted to neighbouring plantations that yielded a special kind of cotton very unlike the common Egyptian, boasting much stronger, snow-white, uncharacteristically uniform fibres. The thick, healthy threads became wildly coveted by factories across the globe, and so the variation of cotton engineered by Tanguis came to be regarded as the “king cotton”. For this boxer brief, UES denim has mixed the yarn with 5% polyurethane, providing light and cool comfort and quick drying.

The entire boxer brief is full of superior-quality details and uses an outstanding, highly skilled sewing process. It has been 4-thread overlock sewed.
