Samurai Jeans 10oz “Hisho SWD-L02-OVS” Selvedge Western Denim Shirt

The western shirt never goes out of style. It is a standby, a classic movie, and you get something that can easily snag the coveted Favorite Shirt status in your wardrobe.

Samurai makes a lot of our favourite staples, and the Hisho Western shirt is a biggie. It is cut from a 10oz Japanese Selvedge “Ear of the sword” Serubitchi Denim, which is well known for its fading properties.

The Hisho shirt features insane details such as black diamond snap buttons, a wooden cat-eye collar button and silver lamé selvedge details, symbolising the “Katana Ha” (Samurais sword cutting edge).

The chain stitching constructions is top-notch. It emphasises western stitching on the front and back yoke. Part of the front stitching refers to the wings of the “Hisho” – Secretary bird.

This shirt has been one-washed so expect no shrinkage. It is the OVS version (Overseas cut designed for the western body types)
