ONI Denim ONI-200 “Low Tension” 15oz Wide Straight Jeans

For the ultimate in breathability and comfort, wide-leg jeans are the move. We love the cool vintage dressed-down denim vibe consisting of heavy faded jeans with wide-leg shapes and high-slung waistlines.

This cut has an impressively roomy wide-leg and a high rise. In addition, ONI has eliminated the pocket arcs and arranged the Oni brand name tag to match the silhouette design. These aren’t for those who fear a draft around their legs. But if a vintage-y workwear look, an off-the-beaten-path silhouette, or simply room to move appeals, we’d recommend giving these jeans a good look.

The fabric has been woven on vintage shuttle looms acquiring a stubby and rough texture. The jeans are made with all the superior-quality ONI details such as copper buttons, high-quality pocket bags, heavy-duty bar tacks and a custom veg-tanned deerskin leather patch.

The legend of ONI is alive to this day. In recent years Oishi-San has devoted himself to experimenting with widely varying grammages, rough textures, different indigo dyeing techniques and novelty cuts while always maintaining a very limited production and wielding his experience in denim which now goes back more than 60 years.
