3sixteen Heavyweight Zip Hoody Oatmeal

The Heavyweight Zip Hoodies are the newest addition to our 3sixteen Collection. The American brand launched these sweatshirts several years ago. They have recently updated it with several improvements from previous runs: it now features an even beefier 500gsm fleece that is knit exclusively for 3sixteen in Canada. It now features a slimmer fit.

The hoody also sports a YKK double zipper, and tan rawhide leather zip pulls. Lastly, the hood drawstring has also been eliminated for a cleaner look.

For those of you who’ve never tried 3sixteen fleece on before, the brand has done its best to replicate the crunchy, slightly rough texture on old reverse weave sweats that they love coupled with a super-soft hand on the inside. Liker denim, this sweatshirt just get better and better the more that you wear and wash them.

Founded in LA by Johan Lam and Andrew Chen over a decade ago, 3sixteen’s philosophy is evident in pieces they’ve developed since 2008: shirts, jackets, basics and accessories all take cues in form and function from their jeans. Fabrics and trims are always chosen for their capacity to develop character with time. 3sixteen aim is that, with diligent wear, the customers are rewarded with something well-aged, never “old.”
