3sixteen Fatigue Pants HBT Herringbone Twill Coyote

Like a pair of raw jeans, the point of these pants is to keep them and wear them for years, if not decades ahead. They take design cues from the military surplus pant that was standard issue for the US Army. This pant silhouette is the roomiest of all 3sixteen bottoms and features a straight leg, higher rise, and roomy top block.

This herringbone twill fabric is another call back to previous seasons. 3sixteen initially used it in AW15. It’s woven in Japan and is truly one of the best HBT’s we’ve ever seen. The fabric is quite heavy and crunchy from the start but it softens nicely with wear and wash, breaking in much lik raw denim. 3sixteen worked with the mill to develop a rinse on the fabric that softened the hand considerably.

The fabric itself develops a lot of character with wear as well: it slightly fades, wrinkles, and the herringbone pattern becomes more pronounced. We see this fabric as the ideal HBT, even better than what you would find on vintage pieces.
